To check the admission Credit /Cash and guide them properly
To attend telephone calls politely by strictly adhering to telephonic manner.
To check if the patient is new or an old patient (Already registered).
To get the information about the nature of the illness and guide them to the concerned department.
To send the patient to the Medical Officer, if the information is not clear regarding their illness and guide them to the concerned department.
To collect the reference letters if any.
To check whether the patient has filled all relevant data in the registration form.
To collect the fees for registration and prepare the receipt and handover to them.
To give the registration card and hospital brochures to the patient.
To handover the blue folder to the concerned IP Services
If the patient is an old patient (Already registered.), guide them to the concerned IP
To make a note on the form and on the computer if the doctor referred was the primary doctor, doctor on call / Causality Medical Officer’s reference/reference letter.
To make an entry of the referred doctors name and address on the computer.
To guide the visitors to the concerned room/departments.
To provide information regarding various preventive medical health checkups.
To answer various queries of the patient.
To prepare the occupancy report, referral report, VIP report and credit list and distribute to the concerned departments.
To handover the accounts of registration fees to the next shift person.
To settle the registration fees in accounts on daily basis.
To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.
To be aware of departments performance and objective.
To carry out data collection/support in data collection.
To adhere to the safety norms of the hospital and to follow both patient/staff safety.
To perform any job/task as and when assigned by the superior.
