PAM Use in Sewage

Post# A519638 · China · Posted by:

  1. Granular polyacrylamide flocculant can not be used in the sewage directly. It must be dissolved in water before use, with its solution to sewage treatment.

  2. Dissolving water shall be clean water ( tap water), not sewage. Room temperature is Okay. Generally speaking, when water temperature is below 5 ℃, PAM dissolves very slow. When the temperature is more than 40 ℃, it will accelerate the degradation of the polymer, affect the results. Usually tap water is suitable for the preparation of a polymer solution. While Acid, alkali, high salt water is not suitable for preparation.

  3. Polymer solution concentration: 0.1% -0.3%, ie.1 g-3g polymer powder for 1 liter of water.
